In 2024, Sandra Adler Killen deployed to Gaza as a trauma RN alongside the Palestine Red Crescent Society, providing frontline care for mass casualties. She has since completed her fourth project to Gaza with the Gina Infant Nutritional Alliance, focusing on pediatric care and lactation support, and is part of an international telehealth team delivering remote lactation care to mothers and babies in Gaza.
